A Arbitor of Mystical Earth's corpse

"Hail, a Planar Projection."
"Hail, a Planar Projection."
"Hail, a Planar Projection."
"Hail, a Planar Projection."
"Hail, a Planar Projection."

Once is enough. Two makes Colin Powell very angry. Three is full blown mad Colin Powell and send in a team of inspectors searching for weapons of mass destruction. Sadly, that will be on hold as the new planar projection stayed up for a whopping 3 minutes and 45 seconds and 38 or so keys received. Regardless, it was a fine ending for an event that takes a couple of hours less than clearing Vex Thal did a few months ago.

Reason to do the event over and over and over and over and over again:

Coirnav the Avatar of Water's corpse<-- Coirnav down~

As promised, here's another dead Elemental God. This was intense, there's no other way to put it. Of course it wasn't a smooth fight, but who honestly expected otherwise from us? ;p

The messed up named pull was followed by a great recovery, after which Coirnav himself had little strength left to oppose us.

I'd like to use this opportunity to thank the developers for this one last remaining mob in the game on which Manaburn has a remote usefulness!

Calamari for everyone! Purple thongs next! ... or little green men =/

Tonight's rewards:
Earring of Embedded Coral

Sharkbone Plated Shoulderpads

Fennin Ro the Tyrant of Fire's corpse

I'm not going to lie to you, this was awful. I've stopped counting the camps, deaths (especially those after midnight), and the times someone agroed the bridge mobs. After two pretty bad attempts last night (don't ask) we picked ourselves up and just did it. Not flawless, but "good enough". The Tyrant of Fire now takes a dirt nap in his under-floor heated halls, and Crimson Tempest is one big kill closer to Time. Next stop: Seafood!

The goodies:

Gleaming Mesh Girdle

Earring of Eternal Flame

Elemental Leather Pant Pattern

Fennin Ro

So we decided to throw ourselves at the Fennin script again, thinking that all the past deaths would finally pay off. Unfortunately SOE didn't want that to happen.

I blame Lilwang!

There was a problem introduced with the patch on 4-8-03 that caused unusual amounts of agro to be created by those doing large amounts of damage in a very short time (including things like crits, Manaburn and Trueshot).

Thanks for pointing that out, Alan! I wouldn't have been able to figure that out by myself after seeing half the guild's damage dealers being summoned and killed seconds. But at least he didn't miss the chance to prove that he's leeter than I am...

 We're still here
Wednesday, April 2, 2003 by Yaxa

It's been a while since the last real update so I'm going to grant you some insight into what we've been up to.

Simply put, we're alternating farm mobs and stuff we haven't killed yet, namely Coirnav and Fennin Ro. In between we're throwing ourselves at mudwalkers and strong winds to finally finish those PoEarthB and Xegony keys, and while a horde of little green men might not be everyone's idea of a nice evening, an elf in a purple thong does indeed sound worth suffering for.

Skipping the loot shots this time because patterns and molds all look alike anyway. Btw, /rude 2-item loot tables (*cough*Grioihin*cough*Generals*cough*). And while we're at it, /rude 7-day respawns. I want my fried calamari already!

Farming is leet, honest...
