There wasn't anything up worth killing so we went to Cazic Thule to try the Avatar of Fear ring again... only to find out that the trigger mob wasn't up. So we headed over to Acrylia Caverns and owned (*cough*) the Ring of Fire. No ph@t l3wtz report for j00~.

First target of the night: Ikatiar the Venom. The wyvern˛ goes down in no time, coughing up a Mask of Venom for Aybabtu, Cloak of Venom (congrats Ransid), and a Poison Soaked Tunic.

Jorlleag was a piece of cake and we moved on to Lady Nevederia... long fight and we only lost the first try due to a wurm add.

Death buffer anyone?



On an unrelated note: Congrats Sorikk on TStaff...

Second try on Lady N went smooth... well at least it sounded smooth from Nexus. I happened to die at 40% and nobody bothered to rez me.



Congrats to Wanlaenwar on the Cloak of Thorns, Quixen scores the Left Eye, and Khalidah rips out the bitch's Right Eye.

Here's an insight on our simple, yet amazing strategies:





Cekenar dead. For a pic, look above and replace "Lady Nevederia's corpse" with "Cekenar's corpse". He shafted us with loot. Nobody really wanted that gimp Frosted Ice Spike thingy. Oh well... on to the next dragon.

So some of us decide that we aren't tired enough yet (well *cough* along those lines... it was 2am EST), so we move to Dragon Necropolis. Chat went somewhat off-topic, no idea why:

Loots: Zlandicar's Talisman for ST key (Shaiel), Cowl of Mortality (Denzimir), Cracked Claw of Zlandicar (cong rot), Zlandicar's Heart (grats peridot fund), Frakadar's Talisman for Shroud of the Dar Brood (Vildainn).



Quick trip to Katta Castellum yielded one dead bard (6am *yawn*), a girdle for Tamarya, and a useless staff. Server's coming down now. Good night...

First target of the night: Lord Yelinak.



After a smooth fight with minimum losses (a few people claimed to have died on enrage on purpose...), the guru of Skyshrine is no more:



Congrats boss cleric Vyvyin on the head, Belgrim gets to see Sleeper's Tomb via Yelinak's Talisman. Cong rot on the two ranger whips. Prowl snags one of the Pally swords, the other one rotted. Oh, and someone was vry~ funny and gave Yeli some eye from Luclin. Go you.

Congrats me on taking a Yelinak faction hit although I need his faction to get my quest boots ><

We head over to Fear for a quick 2-hour clearing. Golems dead, giant poo dead. Congrats to Veli on the Robe of Inspiration (best looking robe in the game!), Blerg and Aybabtu both get a Cloak of the Fearsome!

Kallamon Wizard-Wannabe is now happily nuking away with his new Moonfire spell. We also got A Glowing Orb of Luclinite which identifies as... *dromroll* "A Glowing Orb of Luclinite". Very helpful. Kudos to Verant for the intelligent quest hints!

 Patch Day Woes Night Of Own II

So when Verant finally decides to be done with the patching (did anyone seriously expect them to finish the patch on time?) there's nothing up to kill. Somehow we ended up in Kael and good ol' Vindi bit it. Congrats Watz on the Chestplate of Vindication.

Off to Umbral Plains we go. Zelnithak dies after the ritual druid sacrifice (/bye Kallamon). Congrats Kamile on the necklace:



Next Target: Rumblecrush. Our first attempt, Rumble + 3 guardians (go monk pullers...) was only saved by Qualinas' well timed mem blur. We quickly (well sorta) recover and drop the oversized elemental (this time Kamile got to be the sacrifice). Congrats Chayse on the Wicked Mail.

Back to Kael, because Mangina Extraordinaire, Carriestin~, spotted King Tormax up. A couple minutes (and a few stacks of peridots) later, the king meets his creator. Zulkir gets a fine new pair of booties via Tormax's Head, Ghat and Amaeranth both score a Ring of Lightning, congrats Metranon on the Velium Encrusted Gauntlets. Gaeluas gets a shiny new White Dragonscale Sash.

But the night didn't end here. We had to leave Umbral early for King Tormax, but Globin's alter ego, Doomshade, was still there. So we rushed back and he put out for us.

As you might have noticed, the design of our front page has changed a little. In the future you are going to see more frequent updates submitted by multiple members of Crimson Tempest (including Kinmuan who did the original website and news pages, thanks for spending so much time on that, dorf!).
